Different Fields librettist/lyricist, Sarah Schlesinger, has created a diverse group of musical theatre works in genres ranging from opera to pop. Schlesinger is currently collaborating with Reid on The Ballad of Little Jo, a new musical which has been developed in the Harold Prince/Denver Theatre Center Musical Theatre Workshop. Her musical Love Comics premiered at the George Street Playhouse in November of 1995. Other musical credits include On The Swing Shift for Manhattan Theatre Club and a new musical version of Heidi commissioned by Theatreworks, USA. She has had non-fiction works published by Random House/Villard, William Morrow, Avon Books and the Princeton Book Company. Ms Schlesinger is the Associate Chair of the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
